Friday’s Face of the Day #1

Hello all! I for one, am an admitted (and recognized) makeup addict. I love playing with makeup, learning about makeup, watching tutorials, and buying makeup. With this in mind, we thought we’d make a weekly series of Friday’s face of the day, a face full of makeup shown and applied ready for an evening of excitement, whether that involves studying, netflix, or a night on the town!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette, a palette any makeup lover has heard about, is simply stunning.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in (Earth)quake quickly became my go to eyeliner after I purchased it this past spring. Its creamy texture blends beautifully and can be used for subtle and bold looks alike.

Nars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation in Yukon is a great, full coverage foundation however, it is a little heavier than I was expecting. I had been using the wonderfully light Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, so this took a little getting used to.

Bobbi Brown Under Eye Corrector is the best I’ve found at neutralizing under-eye dark circles. I’m incredibly self conscious about my dark under eyes, so this is a staple in any makeup look I do.

Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer in Medium gives great definition and has the most scrumptious chocolate smell.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit in Light to Medium is great in that it really gives you all the colors you need to contour. However, I would recommend getting it in creme rather than powder as it is easier to blend.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure is my newest blush and I’m very excited about it right now. Although it looks shimmery, it doesn’t go on particularly glittery which is a plus for me.

Mac Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle gives an incredible glow although it is slightly glittery.

Buxom Lash Mascara is my absolute favorite mascara. It does an incredible job of separating and defining your lashes, without looking too heavy.
